Hope everyone likes the icons....I'm beginning to wonder if maybe having my own graphics journal is a good idea after all. I don't find that quite as many people responded to my last icon post (the first over there). Of course its quite possible that the last batch sucked elephant balls too, but who knows. I simply like to know who's looking at them and who's snagging them so I know its worth it to keep posting. And to the ones who always respond, THANK YOU! This doesn't apply to you all, I promise. :)

So if you haven't commented before on the stuff I post, please take a second or two to do so, just to let me know you saw. You can say they suck, its okay, it won't drive me to the tower.....well, at least not today anyway.....

Here is the birthday cookie my parents got for me last week. It was sooooooooo good! Always nice to have your parents give you a bit of spoiling even close to 40. :D

( She was dressed casually but neatly in a denim skirt, a light brown gauzy blouse with flutter sleeves and dark brown boots. Oh, how he loved boots on a woman. Her hair was a medium brown and softly curled with just a touch of blond enhancing the features of her round face. Her complexion was a soft ivory with rosy cheeks and full lips just…dare he say it…waited to be kissed. Her eyes….her eyes were equally amazing….he was sure he’d never seen that color before…a combination of green and brown that speckled together like marble and glistened when she spoke. ( Erik’s body ached so much on days like this he could almost lay down and die, but even with shaking hands, he kept enough of his wits to give himself yet another injection of morphine. That would ease the pain, at least until he made the next change. Unfortunately, his urge to roam was beginning to exceed his body’s capacity to handle it, thus forcing more of the narcotic. He knew if he kept it up, he would soon grow addicted. And not just to the morphine. )

Well, I'm not sure why I'm going through it, but I've entered some icontests. I never thought that I would, never thought I was good enough, but I decided to give it a shot. I've only been doing it about 2 weeks, but its pretty fun. It also takes a lot of patience, which I'm not good at, but it'll force me to be. LOL!

Also, I've discovered the art of Kurt Halsey. He's amazing! I found a huge batch of his work and I made a couple of things out of it.

So, I hope you all like them and I love comments, its hugs from Gerard (if I would ever be lucky enough to get one)

Okay, the sad part is, I really have nothing better to do. *sigh* Geez...once I get started on something, I can't stop until I'm done. Most of the banners are re-do's from some old sigs and wallpaper that needed a bit of updating, the rest is whatever decided to float my boat. ;)
I made my own old photo template as not to start getting into using someone else's. I think I have it down now and I like it. I'm sure everyone will grow bored with it. When you all do, I'll find something else. ;)

I go to all the trouble of making goodies and Photobucket decides to be an ass. The pages keep messing up and half my thumbnails weren't showing.
